Red Cross Says "Thank You"
|
The American Red Cross of Calhoun and Branch County would like to say thank you to one of our many volunteers. Without the time, energy, and assistance provided by our volunteers, we would not be able to accomplish the work we do.
Jim Taylor is one of our "Behind the Scenes" volunteers. He is not seen around the office, but has been very instrumental in redesigning and updating our web-site. It is his hard work and dedication that has made our online class registration, up to date blood drive schedules, Red Cross Happenings, and all other programs easily accessible to the community through our website.

Angie Gresley, Health and Safety Director stated, "Jim is a pleasure to work with he is always available, finishes projects quickly and accurately.
Without Jim, our chapter web page would be non existent." Jim resides in Battle Creek with his wife Gina,
and daughters Emily and Elizabeth. Jim has been volunteering for many years in different venues. He has helped seniors with yard work; coached kids in the game of Chess, and helped with websites. He started his website work with geocities, which is now a part of Yahoo.
Jim describes his purpose for volunteering at the Red Cross as: "Volunteering at the Red Cross is an immediate way to help your neighbors, friends, and fellow citizens, working with an organization whose sole purpose is helping people when they most need it."
