Volunteer and Blood Donor Spotlight
This time around they are they same individual! The staff and volunteers at the Calhoun/Branch County American Red Cross would like to recognize Rich Lafrinere for his volunteer and blood donor commitment.
Rich has been an outstanding volunteer for almost a year. He is always willing to put in extra hours when we are short handed. No matter where we need him, Rich is willing to step in. He has assisted with canteen deliveries, sometimes two in one day, loading and unloading of the blood truck, as well as registration, and canteen. When necessary he trains others to do these valuable volunteer tasks. The time and care he takes to make sure everything is done right does not go unnoticed.
Although Rich may be a relatively new face as a Red Cross volunteer, he certainly is not new to donating. In the month of June Rich earned his 20 gallon blood donor pin. On a warm day in June Rich made a
pickup of the canteen to deliver to a blood drive. On this same day, at the location he delivered the canteen, Rich made his 20 gallon donation. Thank you Rich for your volunteer and blood donor commitments, your dedication and willingness to give so much of yourself is an inspiration to us all!
